My Dearest World Bead Night, NYC, June 2024

I have worked with local NYC jeweler Hannah Lefcourt and her brand My Dearest World to host a bead night for some of her closet clients. I worked with Hanna to source the supplies. I also created the snack and drink menu, coordinated with local baker Dorian Ferrer create signature gateaux modeled after the My Dearest World Jewelry line, and floral arrangements by local florist, Katie Berkshady. I also co-hosted the event and assisted guests at the shopping table.

Craft Club: Shrinky Dink Charms, NYC, March 2025

I created this craft club as a space for my friends and I to come together, disconnect from the world and just create something. I chose this project as it was something I really enjoyed doing as a kid and it could present an opportunity to create shrinky dinks with a whole new perspective.

Community is really important to me especially right now when the world feels so challenging. I wanted to create a third space that’s not alcohol based and makes you flex your creative muscles. I also wanted it to be accessible so tickets were $20 each which included: all materials, snacks, and soft drinks.

This was meant to be a monthly event, but unfortunately life happened and it’s on hiatus for the time being, but hopefully will be resurrected soon.
